Solid. Square. Safe — Season After Season.

Steps take more abuse than any other concrete on your property: concentrated foot traffic, salt, ice and freeze-thaw, all on a small surface. Southwest Concrete Innovations forms and pours concrete steps, porch landings and entrances across Strathroy, Watford, Sarnia and the surrounding area — properly reinforced, tied into the structure where required, and finished to match your home.

Do You Need New Concrete Steps?

New poured steps are the right call if:

  • Your existing steps are cracked, spalling, sinking or pulling away from the house.
  • You are replacing pre-cast steps that have shifted or never quite fit.
  • You want steps that match a new walkway, porch or patio — same finish, same colour, one design.
  • You are building new and want an entrance that is safe, level and consistent in rise and run.

Most step projects pair naturally with a new path — see our concrete walkways.

Anchored, Reinforced, Built to Last

Where we pour against a foundation, we insert 10mm rebar into the wall so the new concrete cannot rise or fall independently — the slope keeps draining the right way for the life of the pour. Steps get the same wire mesh reinforcement as every SWCI job, formed carefully for consistent rise and run, then finished brushed, stamped or with an exposed aggregate tread for extra grip.

Like all our work, steps get the day-after treatment: forms stripped, edges detailed and everything power washed before we consider it finished.
